It was a unique hotel at that time, because the hotel had water supply, central heating, telephone and electricity.

The hotel was known as the Palast-Hotel at that time.

Leo Ginzburg was a building contractor of the hotel.

He combined the advanced engineering technologies and high artistic taste.

Nowadays, the hotel is considered as the cultural heritage of the city.

In the past, it was used as a German Consulate building, and the residence of the Turkish Ambassador. The last Ukrainian hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi decided to lay down his mace.

Before the war, it was known as the Palace Hotel, then as the Ukraina Hotel, and only in 2001, the hotel returned its historical name – Premier Palace Hotel.
