The Alpina offers on-site Michelin starred restaurant, a wine cellar containing over 1’700 selections, and a range of services to experience.

The property hosts the only Six Senses Spa in Switzerland, a holistic destination inspired by Asian wellness traditions that draw upon the energy of the Alps and the Bernese Oberland’s peaks and pastures.

The Alpina Gstaad is a newly-built five-star mountain resort located in an exclusive hilltop area of the Oberbort neighborhood.

The hotel offers magnificent views of the Bernese Alps and the Saanenland, an area known for its wide range of Summer and Winter activities.

Every architectural detail is rendered in classic Alpine style, highlighting the Saanenland’s artisan heritage.

A fusion of materials and regional craft combine woodwork, hand-built fireplaces made from local stone, genuine period painted furniture and ceilings decorated with traditional wood carvings, tastefully enhanced with every modern comfort.

The Alpina Gstaad‘s top Suite is a generous duplex on the highest floors, offering striking views across the valley and mountains.

Three en-suite bedrooms comfortably accommodate six guests.

The large living area with a woodburning fireplace in the salon includes a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table for 8 guests.

The upper floor features a private wellness oasis with spa room, hammam, sauna, gym and outdoor jacuzzi. Suite size 400 m² (4305 sq ft).

These expansive 1-bedroom suites function as private apartments, each with its own generous bedroom and large walk-in closet.

Large French doors open onto a private south-facing terrace. Suite size 98 m² (1055 sq ft).

Overlooking the village of Gstaad and surrounding valley, this spacious suite features three en-suite bedrooms to comfortably accommodate 6 guests.

The large living area with fireplace in the salon also includes a fully-equipped kitchen and a bar counter as well as two dining tables for 8 and 6 guests respectively.

Executive Chef Martin Göschel takes centre stage offering taste experiences inspired by his travels in France, Italy, Southeast Asia, and South America.

Additionally, a respected vegetarian menu has been developed.

Gault Millau awards Sommet 18/20 points, and the Guide Michelin rates the restaurant one star for service, wine list and décor where rustic and modern beautifully harmonize.

The Swiss Stübli restaurant is the very embodiment of Alpine spirit, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

After a day of hiking or skiing, relax and indulge in some local specialities among rustic carved wood panelling, and a warm atmosphere.

Classic and traditional Swiss dishes such as raclette or fondue, from all four corners of the nation, are reinterpreted and presented with a touch of modernity.

You will find The Alpina Lounge & Bar the hub of this holiday destination.

Craft or classic cocktails can accompany irrestibile light lunch or dinner.

An enormous floor-to-ceiling window connects the interior with the bar’s outdoor terrace, where you feel the very heart of the mountains, even from the fireplace and the bar.

On all sides you will see examples from the hotel’s art collection.

The Alpina Gstaad’s Wine Cellar is a place where groups encounter a natural joie de vivre. Here, friends and wine lovers can enjoy fine vintages, many of Swiss origin.

A rustic stone and wood interior accented with wrought iron decorations houses over 1,700 bottles from some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions.

The bar’s large table can accommodate up to 8 for a private wine-tasting session.

The indoor and outdoor pools located in the protective setting of The Alpina Gstaad and the unique treatments developed by our skilled practitioners round off a plethora of spa services that are recognized far beyond the borders of Switzerland.

Six Senses Spa infuses the spirit of the surrounding environment with an Eastern flair, creating a secluded and warm ambience.

The spa features a hammam, individual treatment rooms dedicated to specialist therapies such as colour therapy and colonic hydrotherapy; six multi-functional treatment rooms, a Salt Room, an Oriental Room and a Cave Room.

Couples are welcome to enjoy treatments together, while three interconnecting rooms provide an ideal space for a Ladies Only area with private access to female changing rooms and wet facilities.

There is also a multifunctional studio offering various wellness classes and a fitness centre.

Additional hydrotherapy experiences are located in the female and male changing areas and include experience showers, ice showers with mini ice fountains, a hammam, and hot and cold plunge pools. Additionally, gentlemen can enjoy a sauna with colour therapy and ladies can relax in the saunarium or on heated water beds.

Situated in the heart of the hotel, the Auditorium is a beautifully-designed, infinitely flexible space that can be inventively transformed according to individual need.

The room comfortably seats up to 18 persons in a private setting which features executive armchairs, comfortable sofas and ottomans in brown leather and charcoal-toned wool.
