Upper House Dining is also a member of Smaka på Göteborg (Taste Gothenburg), a collaboration between Göteborg & Co and the restaurant industry in Gothenburg to build and profile Gothenburg as a culinary destination.

Taste Gothenburg is working to strengthen relations with local producers and suppliers and to work together to ensure a high-quality level of ingredients that the restaurants use.

With unbeatable views over the beautiful city of Gothenburg, the bar at Upper House Dining offers a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere.

You will find a wide selection of drinks including champagne, wine and local beers.

We also serve our popular oysters, selected cheeses and cold meats and a variety of caviar options. Come and enjoy our Afternoon Fika at Upper House Dining.

Our ‘fika’ includes home-made baked goods served together on one plate.

We offer an accompanying hot drink or a glass of champagne.

The bar also offers a wider selection, including drinks, wine and beer.

The kitchen garden up on the roof of Upper House is in full bloom during the summer months, and the buzzing of 150,000 bees valiantly tries to compete with the noise of the city 27 floors below.

Sweden’s highest apiary has been here for four years and in that time the colony has more than doubled without any outside help.

Our rooftop plot is looked after with the greatest of care and both the herbs and spices grown up here, as well as the honey from our bees, are used in our restaurants’ dishes, as well as to flavour our own beer, which we brew in-house.
