Originally owned by the Ushers, the family behind Glenlivet Whisky and the Ushers Brewery, the house still has the appearance of a private country home.

But, like one of the family’s finest malts, it has improved with age.

For a taste of the past, look into the main house with its original suites, period features and panoramic views.

For our contemporary offerings, see the west wing, where additional Executive bedrooms and suites offer the ultimate in indulgence.

The Kingdom is royalty indeed – the best suite in the house has a living room, dining room, large bathroom complete with his and her basins, rolltop bath and separate shower.

Also benefiting from floor to ceiling windows and a large private balcony, this is the ultimate place to indulge. Located in the west wing.

Spending the night in a well-appointed hotel suite is one of life’s real indulgences, as anyone who has ever stayed in one of our Junior Suites will tell you.

Perfect for a special occasion, these are located in the west wing and are split on two floors.

The lower floor has the bedroom and bathroom, while the upper floor has a living area and wet room.

Located close to reception and overlooking the gardens, the Lomond Suite is a spacious room which is perfect for relaxing in.

With an abundant larder of fine Scottish produce on its doorstep, The Brasserie, winner of ‘restaurant of the year’ at the 6th Food Awards Scotland 2019, provides the perfect place to have a relaxing and delicious meal in Edinburgh.

Guests can enjoy a wide selection of classic dishes, enhanced with a modern touch, as well as selection of Hand Picked favourites.

For those looking for a comfortable place to while away the hours, our Conservatory Lounge and Drawing Room provide an ideal spot for a morning coffee, afternoon tea, cocktails or late night digestifs with friends and colleagues.

With a real pride for provenance, guests can expect seasonal menus that showcase the region’s best produce.

Favourites include braised Scottish lamb shank, Scottish salmon fillet and, of course, haggis, neeps and tatties.

The dining room’s contemporary surroundings are light and bright, with large windows that look out over the green lawns and grounds beyond.
