Hideki Matsuhisa was born in Toyota, Japan and is forged in the art of Japanese cuisine, first in his father’s restaurant and later in various restaurants in Tokyo.

In 1997 he settled in Barcelona and decided to import the aroma of Japanese kitchens to Barcelona. 

Thus he became head chef and co-owner of Shunka (2001), a typical Japanese tavern in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, and Koy Shunka (2008; awarded a Michelin star in 2012), the gourmet and sophisticated version of the former. 

With these credentials Hideki Matsuhisa arrives at Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa with an original proposal, but full of the best tradition of Japanese cuisine.

The gastronomic menu designed for Koy Hermitage masterfully combines the culinary traditions and techniques of Japan, fresh, high-quality products and local raw materials.

5,000 m2 distributed over five exquisitely decorated floors that host the most modern spa facilities in Europe and, of course, Andorra.

The different floors of the center offer us facilities grouped thematically: health and beauty, relaxation by hydrotherapy, purification and toning by moist and dry heat, and finally, the spa area and water circuit, which has different pools of different temperature, a pebble path and a large lagoon with hydrotherapy jets, underwater massage and direct access to 2 outdoor hydrotherapy bathtubs.
